If you have an S-video output on your PC you can use an S-video to Scart converter (Maplins sell these) to send the image to your TV via a scart socket. To get the audio you will need to have the red and white component sound inputs on your telly, a cable can link these to the ones on your pc or the headphone output on your pc. S-video provides a perfectly good (though not high def) picture for watching films off your computer but for using it as a monitor the text will lack sharpness as the definition will be lower than the VGA output and won't make use of your TV being high def. VGA to scart converters are another option but I think these are about seventy quid or more and I'm not sure if the resoution stays VGA or is converted to a lower res.
